Kemah, TX
during March 1999

Here are a few photos we took while on the waterfront in Kemah.

[ABOVE]  A view of the channel between Galveston Bay and Clear Lake.   Photo taken from Landry's Seafood Restaurant to the northwest.  Shrimpers dock on the Seabrook side of the channel.  The channel has heavy pleasure-craft traffic . . . mostly sailboats heading out and returning from Galveston Bay.  There are two slips available for restaurant patrons.  A 35' SeaRay occupies one of the slips in this photo.

[ABOVE]  Here is the view to the northeast from Landry's.  This photo doesn't do justice to the number of boats actually visible on the horizon out in Galveston Bay.

[ABOVE]  How is this for advertising?
