The optional canvas package on the '99 centerboard includes winch covers, companionway hatch cover, mainsail cover & wheel pedestal cover.  Note that the snaps used to secure the companionway hatch cover are also used for the now standard-equipment pop-top canvas.  Most older model C250s do not have these snaps already in place.

This '96 centerboard was sold to its first owner last fall.  The compass card has yellowed after being exposed to the sun.  If you want to keep your card "white", cover it up when not in use.

Here is my steering pedestal ('99 centerboard) after adding the pedestal guard and wheel brake (the black knob is barely visible on the right side of the pedestal.  The Edson wheel steering system incorporates a 24" wheel.   Notice the white compass card.  The pedestal's canvas cover has been removed for this photo.

in a sailboat, you are already there."
